Besides our regular VAG_Rad there’s also cargo bikes available to you. Please note that cargo bikes may only be returned at their designated home station.
REGISTRATION
Registration in the NürnbergMOBIL app is free of charge. As soon as you have entered all your data, you can borrow a VAG_Rad.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR code on the bike with your app. The frame lock will open automatically .
PARKING MODE
Do you want to park your bike during rental? Simply activate the parking mode in the app and then close the lock.
RETURN
Return the bike to an official station or within the flexzone of VAG_Rad. Press the lever on the frame lock down to lock the bike. If you return your bike elsewhere, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.
REGISTRATION
Registration in the NürnbergMOBIL app is free of charge. As soon as you have entered all your data, you can borrow a VAG_Lastenrad.

Do you want to park your bike during rental? Simply activate the parking mode in the app and then close the lock.
RETURN
Return your cargo bike to its home station. Said station is printed on the cargo area. Put the bike on its feet and press the lever on the frame lock down. If you return your bike elsewhere, a service fee of at least €50 will be charged.

Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.

Up to four bikes can be rented at the same time by one account. The special rate only applies to the first bike.
The VAG_Rad must be returned securely either at an official station or within the flexzones. Only then the return is free of charge. If you return your bike elsewhere, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.
The VAG_Lastenrad must be returned to its home station. Only then the return is free of charge. If you return your cargo bike elsewhere, a service fee of €50 will be charged.
Before returning your bike, make sure you are currently inside of the flexzone. You can do so by having a look on the map in the NürnbergMOBIL app.

In addition to the minute-based billing, there is an initial fee of €0,10.
The maximum daily charge is €10/24 h.

The free minutes apply to standard bikes and cargo bikes.
If several bikes are rented at the same time, the free minutes only apply to the bike that was rented first. The basic rate applies for additional bikes.
Unused free minutes expire at the end of the month.
